ViVa's policy plan focuses on objectives and activities that serve the general interest of the community. The plan emphasizes transparent and responsible financial management, as well as a governance structure that prioritises integrity and democratic values. The organisation, operating on a non-profit basis, is committed to complying with ANBI requirements.

The directors of ViVa, Max Winkens and Roël David Krämer, fulfil the formal management roles as laid down in the organisation's articles of association. These functions include those of chairman, treasurer and secretary.ViVa's remuneration policy is in accordance with its articles of association and internal regulations, whereby directors can only claim expense allowances or minimum attendance fees after they have nominated this toall members and this has been voted on.

Visie Vaals, which received the most votes in the municipal elections in March 2022, thus obtained three seats in the municipal council. This result emphasizes the strong support and trust that ViVa enjoys among the residents of the municipality.In March 2024, the one-man faction Heuvelland Democrats joined the party, this development resulted in a strengthened presence of ViVa in the municipal council, with the party now occupying four of the fifteen seats.

ViVa's commitment is aimed at offering a voice to every resident of the municipality of Vaals. The party strives to represent and promote the interests of its citizens. In doing so, Visie Vaals works closely with the PVDA and Nuj Lies Vroem. This collaboration, known as "the composition", forms a strong partnership that contributes to the realization of common goals.

Although there is currently no financial accounting, the organization has recently opened a bank account with Rabobank UA. This account is available for inspection upon request to promote transparency; as soon as financial accountability is possible, it will be published.
